This album proposes a colection of fifteen early music themes performed in a original manner, joining modern instruments (flute, violin, oboe, bassoon) with traditional percussion instruments (djembe, doumbek, tambourine). In the ensemble’s view, the songs are based on the faithful interpretation of music from the european courts, reaching up to free improvisations on medieval folk themes.
