Graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille, where he took his first video design classes, Cristian Stanoiu is working as architect and scenographer. After a master’s degree at the University of Theatre and Cinematography in Bucharest, he started to collaborate with professional and amateur actors in independent theatre projects. A passionate for old music, medieval art and whistles of all kinds, Cristian is producing the live video background for Imago Mundi’s concerts. The moving images are projected on different surfaces, in relation with place and sound, contributing along with the music to the imaginary space of performances.
